This is paid, on-court work supporting clinics and league sessions. You show up prepared, support well-organized sessions, work within clear standards, and are paid per session.

Independent Contractor Notice

This opportunity is offered exclusively as a 1099 independent contractor role. Nothing in this posting creates an employment relationship. Contractors retain control over how instructional support is delivered within agreed session standards and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance.

Role Snapshot

A session-based opportunity supporting court-based clinics and structured league programming. Lead instruction is handled by certified professionals. Contractors support sessions on court during scheduled times, focused on session support and a positive participant experience.

Scope of Engagement

- Offered per session or per block, based on availability and program demand

- No guaranteed volume

- No obligation to accept sessions

- Availability is set by the contractor

What You Do on Court

- Support live clinics and sessions

- Assist with drills, rotations, ball feeds, and participant flow

- Help maintain organized, safe, and effective sessions

- Communicate clearly with participants

- Maintain professional conduct and situational awareness on court

What This Role Does Not Require

- No scheduling, billing, marketing, or administrative ownership

- No exclusivity requirement

Background That Helps

- Experience in court-based or racquet sports

- Coaching, assisting, or competitive playing experience preferred

- Comfort managing groups efficiently

- Clear communication with adult and youth participants

- Reliability for sessions you accept

Requirements

- Active Pennsylvania clearances required prior to working with minors, including PA State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34), PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), and FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)

Contractor Structure and Payment

- 1099 independent contractor, paid per session or agreed block

- No employer-sponsored benefits and no tax withholding

- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and certifications

- You operate as your own independent business, sole proprietor or LLC, with a W-9 on file before any engagement. An LLC is preferred.

- Before any engagement or payment, you sign an independent contractor agreement
